US Road Running Gobbler Events in Gadsden
The US Road Running event in Gadsden, Alabama, takes place at James Martin Trail Park, located behind the Gadsden Mall. This racing series offers three specific distances for participants:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
The courses are set on a pea gravel trail. Both the 5K and 10K events utilize a 0.78-mile out-and-back route. Participants in the 5K complete this loop two times, while those in the 10K complete it four times. The Half Marathon consists of a 1.09-mile out-and-back path that runners complete six times to reach the total distance.
A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes is enforced for all distances. Registration must be completed online in advance, as no on-site registration is available on the day of the event. Packet pickup is conducted at the race location starting 30 minutes before the first start. All finishers receive a medal upon completion of their race.
