Race Information
US Road Running organizes this event in Gadsden, Alabama, featuring several distances on a flat surface. The course is situated behind the Gadsden Mall and utilizes a pea gravel trail. Participation requires advance registration online through RunSignup, as there is no option for on-site registration.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- 13.1 Miles (Half Marathon)
The 5K and 10K participants utilize a 0.78-mile out-and-back route. The 5K runners complete this loop twice, while the 10K runners complete it four times. The Half Marathon participants follow a separate 1.09-mile out-and-back route, completing the loop six times to reach the total distance.
All events are subject to a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes. Packet pickup is available on the morning of the event near the starting area. All finishers receive a medal for completing their chosen distance. Participants are also encouraged to participate in a best costume award competition.
