Medal Madness 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon, Gadsden, AL (50)
The event takes place on December 12, 2026, in Gadsden, Alabama at James Martin Trail Park, 829 Old S 4th St, Gadsden, AL 35901. The race offers the following distances:

All runners must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and ends 10 minutes before the race start. A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes applies. Finisher medals, shirts and gear, and awards are part of the event offerings. Course and logistics
All courses use the James Martin Trail and are on a pea gravel trail. The 5K and 10K use an out-and-back loop repeated on the trail (the 5K repeats the out-and-back twice; the 10K repeats it four times). The half marathon uses a separate out-and-back loop that is repeated six times. The organizer notes that GPS devices may direct users to a small building on Old S 4th Street; if so, go south onto Old S 4th Street and turn right into the parking lot behind the Gadsden Mall.
