Course and logistics
Races take place on a pea gravel trail. The 5K and 10K use a short out-and-back loop: the loop distance is listed as 0.78 miles, with the out-and-back measuring 1.56 miles; the 5K completes that out-and-back twice and the 10K four times. The Half Marathon uses a longer out-and-back loop of 1.09 miles, with the out-and-back listed as 3.18 miles; the half marathon repeats that out-and-back six times. Directions note that GPS may point to a small building on Old S. 4th Street; in that case attendees should go south onto Old S. 4th Street and turn right into the parking lot to reach the park behind the mall.
