Luau 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon : Gadsden, AL
The event offers three race distances held at James Martin Trail Park in Gadsden, AL 35901. All courses run on a pea gravel trail located just behind the Gadsden Mall. GPS devices may direct visitors to a small building on Old S 4th Street; from there the parking lot is to the right after heading south on Old S 4th Street.
Registration is handled online through RunSignup and there is no on-site registration. Packet pickup is available prior to the races. The event includes finisher medals, a shirt and gear shop, a best costume category, series points, and awards. An FAQ is provided for additional participant information.
Course details:
- 5K - out-and-back loop 0.78 mile, two repeats
- 10K - out-and-back loop 0.78 mile, four repeats
- Half Marathon - out-and-back loop 1.09 mile, six repeats
The course time limit is 3 hours and 30 minutes. Maps for the 5K/10K and Half Marathon courses are available, and the courses use repeated out-and-back laps to achieve the advertised distances. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
