Course and logistics
The courses use a pea gravel trail at James Martin Trail Park, 829 Old S 4th St, Gadsden, AL 35901. Course descriptions list short out-and-back segments: a 0.78 mile segment (out-and-back 1.56 miles) used multiple times for the 5K, 10K, and 15K; and a 1.09 mile segment (out-and-back 3.18 miles) repeated for the half marathon. The 5K repeats the out-and-back two times, the 10K four times, the 15K six times, and the half marathon six times. A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes is posted. Participants are advised that GPS may direct to a small building on Old S 4th Street; the event is located just behind the Gadsden Mall.
