The Pirate 5K, 10K, & 13.1M takes place on April 25, 2026 in Gadsden, Alabama. Distances offered:

All runners must register on RunSignup. There is no on-site registration. A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes applies.
Course and logistics
The races are staged at James Martin Trail Park, 829 Old S 4th St, Gadsden, AL 35901. The courses are on a pea gravel trail and are run as out-and-back segments. The organizer describes the shorter course segment as an out-and-back that the 5K repeats twice and the 10K repeats four times. The half marathon uses an out-and-back segment that is repeated six times.
Participants are advised that GPS directions may point to a small building on Old S 4th Street; in that case the organizer says to go south on Old S 4th Street and turn right into the parking lot, as the event is just behind the Gadsden Mall.
