Event overview
The Medal Madness race takes place on March 14, 2026, in Gadsden, Alabama, at James Martin Trail Park (829 Old S 4th St, Gadsden, AL 35901). The event includes the following distances:

All runners must register on RunSignup. There is no on-site registration. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race.
Course and logistics
The courses use a pea gravel trail behind the Gadsden Mall. The 5K and 10K use a 0.78-mile loop; the out-and-back section measures 1.56 miles, with the 5K repeating that out-and-back twice and the 10K repeating it four times. The half marathon uses a 1.09-mile loop; its out-and-back section measures 3.18 miles and is repeated six times for the half distance. The event has a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes.
