US Road Running Knoxville
The US Road Running Knoxville event takes place at Holston River Park in Knoxville, Tennessee. This organized run is part of the US Road Running Race Series and offers three distinct distances for participants of various interests. All race events follow an out-and-back format on established courses within the park grounds.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 5K: This distance requires completing the out-and-back course twice.
- 10K: This distance requires completing the out-and-back course four times.
- Half Marathon: This distance requires completing the out-and-back course six times.
The starting line is located near Shelter #1. The event has a total course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all distances. Packet pickup is conducted on-site shortly before the event begins, but all participants must complete their registration online in advance as there is no on-site registration.
Finishers receive a themed medal upon completion of their chosen distance. While not a requirement, the event encourages participants to wear costumes.
