Event details

The Pirate race takes place on April 18, 2026, at Holston River Park in Knoxville, TN (3300 Holston Hills Road, 37914). The event includes the following distances:

Half Marathon (13.1M)

All participants must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. All finishers will receive a themed finisher medal. The race awards points toward the US Road Running Race Series. Wearing a costume is encouraged but not required.

Course and logistics

The courses are out-and-back routes. The 5K course is completed twice, the 10K course four times, and the Half Marathon course six times. The starting line is located near Shelter #1 at Holston River Park. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race.
