US Road Running - DeBary
The US Road Running race in DeBary, Florida, is a paved surface event held at Gemini Springs Park. Participants can choose from three distinct distances held on concrete paths within the park grounds:
- 5K: A single out-and-back loop totaling 3.11 miles.
- 10K: Two repetitions of the out-and-back course.
- Half Marathon: Four repetitions of a 3.28-mile out-and-back course.
The event operations are centered at the O.K. Corral shelter, which serves as the location for check-in, bib pick-up, and the start and finish line. Access to the venue is available via Dirksen Drive, with parking located in the West Parking loop. If the primary parking area is full, additional spaces are available in the East Parking section. Public restrooms are located near the playground, opposite the West Parking area from the starting shelter.
Registration must be completed online prior to the event, as there is no option for on-site registration. All finishers receive a medal for completing their respective courses. The event has a total course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all distances. Participants are encouraged to wear costumes, and a group photo is taken at the start of the race to recognize the best-dressed runners.
