PawPals 4 Life 5k - event overview
The PawPals 4 Life 5k takes place on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Rock Springs Run State Reserve Trail, 30601 Wekiva River Road, Sorrento, FL 32776. The event is presented by Pawfields Enrichment Group and GetDisrupted.Org. Distances offered include:
- 5K Run/Walk (in person)
- 5K Virtual
Proceeds from the event support the ASPCA. A sponsored grand prize raffle with stated cash values for in-person and virtual participants is announced; additional terms apply.
Logistics, awards and rules
The course is entirely off-road on wilderness trails or unpaved roads and may include soft sand, standing water, mud, rocks, roots, and wildlife. The race will be timed and scored; in-person participants use a disposable timing chip attached to the race bib. Virtual participants can track and upload results using a mobile application provided with virtual registration.
Packet pick-up is available at Front Running Sports from September 30 through October 2, and there is packet pick-up on race day. In-person registration includes a race t-shirt, finisher medal, and park entrance for the participant and one guest; registered dogs receive a matching dog medal and bandana plus park entrance. Virtual participants will be mailed race items. Parking is free inside the park.
Awards include overall top 3 adults and youth, top 3 in each age group (10 and younger; 11-17; 18-25; 26-35; 36-45; 46-55; 56-65; 66-75; 76-85; 85+), and overall top 3 PawPals.
