Course and logistics
The course surfaces are concrete. The 5K, 10K, and 15K use the same out-and-back route with repeats: the 5K completes the out-and-back once, the 10K twice, and the 15K three times. The Half Marathon uses a separate out-and-back route and completes that out-and-back four times. Check-in, bib pick-up, and start/finish are located at the O.K. Corral shelter. Entrances and parking: enter the park from Dirksen Drive, turn right at the first stop sign and use the West Parking loop; follow park signs for East Parking if West Parking is full. Restrooms are on the opposite side of West Parking, beyond the playground. The event offers finisher medals and race shirts and has a best costume category, series points, and awards.
