HOPE's 15th Annual Sham Rock N Run 5k - Oviedo, FL
HOPE's 15th Annual Sham Rock N Run 5k takes place on March 14, 2026 at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Oviedo, Florida. The event includes an in-person 5k, a Virtual 5k, Snooze for HOPE, and a free Lil' Leprechaun Lap for children ages 1 to 9.
The first 700 registrants will receive a performance T-shirt, a finisher’s medal, and a custom race bib. T-shirt sizes are adult sizes only and are not guaranteed after January 25, 2026. All attendees receive a race bag with the event T-shirt and 5K items; participants are asked to return the race bag filled with non-perishable food to support the event food pantry.
Participants are encouraged to wear St. Patty's Day attire. Prizes will be awarded for best costumes and for the largest team. Children pushed in strollers attend free; all strollers and baby joggers must start at the back of the pack. Parking is available on site at no charge. For safety, skates, skateboards, bikes, and non-service animals are not allowed on the racecourse.
Awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in each age category from 9 and under up to 80 plus. Packet pickup is at Beers and Gordon, P.A., 313 S Central Ave, Oviedo, with additional pickup at St. Luke's. Unclaimed shirts and medals will be available for pickup at HOPE Helps beginning March 16 through March 20, 2026 or can be mailed for an additional $5 postage fee.
