Event overview
HOPE's 15th Annual Sham Rock N Run is a community 5K event held on March 14, 2026 in Oviedo, Florida. The event includes an in-person 5K, a Virtual 5K, a Snooze for HOPE option, and a free Lil' Leprechaun Lap for children ages 1 to 9. Registration fees listed on the event page include $40 for the main 5K (reduced $25 price noted for ages 1-9), $40 for the Virtual 5K, $40 for Snooze for HOPE, and $0 for the Lil' Leprechaun Lap.
Logistics and extras
The event location is St. Luke's Lutheran Church at 2021 West State Road 426, Oviedo, FL 32765. The first 700 registrants will receive a performance T-shirt, a finisher's medal, and a custom race bib; adult T-shirt sizes only and sizes are not guaranteed after January 25, 2026. Parking is available on site at no charge. Children pushed in strollers may attend for free but must start at the back of the pack. Skates, skateboards, bikes, and non-service animals are not allowed on the racecourse.
Awards are planned for the top three male and female finishers in multiple age categories from 9 and under up to 80+. All proceeds benefit HOPE Helps, Inc., an organization working to prevent and reduce homelessness in Central Florida.
Packet pick-up dates are listed for March 12–14, 2026; shirts and medals not claimed on race day will be available for pick up March 16–20, 2026 or can be mailed for a $5 postage fee. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
