Luau Race at Eagle Lake Park
The US Road Running event in Largo features a series of road races held at Eagle Lake Park. This event offers three distinct distances for participants on an asphalt course. The race structure is based on an out-and-back loop system, and a staff member is positioned at the turnaround point to provide course guidance to participants.
Registration is conducted exclusively online before the event, as there is no option for on-site registration. Packet pickup is available at the location shortly before the start. The venue provides a primary parking lot near the starting line, with an additional overflow parking area available nearby if the main lot reaches capacity.
Runners can choose from the following distances:
- 5K: A single loop of the 1.56-mile out-and-back course.
- 10K: Two laps of the 1.56-mile out-and-back course.
- Half Marathon: Four laps of the 1.64-mile out-and-back course.
All participants who complete their respective distances receive a themed finisher medal. While not mandatory, participants are encouraged to wear costumes during the event. There is a total course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all distances.
