The Honor Our Heroes 5k Memorial Run takes place in Oldsmar, Florida on Saturday, May 23, 2026. The event is presented by Oldsmar Cares in collaboration with VFW Post 12186. The race course runs past the Veterans Memorial Park and along the upper Tampa Bay waterfront. The 5k is USATF certified (certificate CL25009JK) and is recognized by the Road Runners Club of America. Awards are given to overall Male and Female winners and the top three finishers in each age bracket. Age brackets start at 9 and under and continue in five-year increments up to 70 and over.

Logistics and extras

Registration lists a general entry price of $30 for the main 5k and $20 for the HOH5k Harrier Edition youth group. Packet pickup is available at Tampa Bay Brewing Company (TBBC) on May 21 and May 22; TBBC is located on Racetrack Road at 13937 Monroes Business Park, Tampa, FL. Participants receive a chipped timing bib, official race shirts while supplies last, and swag bags. Post-race food and beverages will be available, with Tampa Bay Brewing Company and Three Brothers NY Pizza listed among vendors. Organizers recommend using the access from Tampa Road onto Washington Avenue for parking; an open grass field with parking attendants will be used and parking near State Street and City Hall should be avoided.
