10th Annual Honor Our Heroes 5k Memorial Run
The Honor Our Heroes 5k Memorial Run is a community event held in Oldsmar, Florida, in recognition of Memorial Day. This event is a collaboration between Oldsmar Cares and the All-American VFW Post 12186, two volunteer-led nonprofit organizations. The course is USA Track & Field (USATF) certified and recognized by the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA).

The race route begins near Oldsmar City Hall and passes by the Veterans Memorial Park, following the waterfront of upper Tampa Bay. The event is open to competitive athletes, casual joggers, pet walkers, and participants with strollers. Net proceeds from the registration fees support local residents, veterans, and various community projects.
Participants receive a chipped timing bib, an official race shirt, and a swag bag containing items from local sponsors. The event concludes with an afterparty featuring food and beverages from local vendors, including Tampa Bay Brewing Company and Three Brothers NY Pizza. Awards are presented to the overall male and female winners, as well as the top three finishers in several age brackets, ranging from 9 and under to 70 and over.
