Pirate 5K, 10K, & 13.1M at Charlotte, NC (16)
The event takes place in Charlotte, North Carolina on April 18, 2026, with the start location at Mallard Creek Playground across from Mallard Creek Elementary School, 9729 Mallard Creek Rd, Charlotte NC 28267. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race. All participants must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. The course includes a hill at the start and finish, and an overall time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes applies.
Distances and course format:
- 5K: out-and-back course using the 1.56 mile segment once.
- 10K: out-and-back course using the 1.56 mile segment twice.
- Half Marathon: out-and-back course using the 3.275 mile segment four times.
Entry fees listed on the event page are $30 for the 5K, $45 for the 10K, and $65 for the Half Marathon. The event offers finisher medals, a shirt and gear shop, a best costume recognition, series points, and awards.
