Event details
The Viking event is scheduled for February 7, 2026, at Marion Diehl Park in Charlotte, NC (2229 Tyvola Rd, 28210). Distances offered include:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
The race is organized by US Road Running. All runners must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. The event page includes information about finisher medals, a shirt and gear shop, a best costume feature, series points, and awards.
Course and logistics
The 5K and 10K use an out-and-back course. The 5K completes the course once; the 10K completes it twice. The half marathon uses an out-and-back segment that is repeated four times. A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes is in effect. The race start is located next to Marion Diehl Adaptive Field.
