Event overview
The Viking race day takes place on February 7, 2026, at Marion Diehl Park in Charlotte, North Carolina. The event features three distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
All runners must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Packet pickup is available shortly before the race and closes shortly before the start. A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes applies.
Course and race details
The start area is next to Marion Diehl Adaptive Field at Marion Diehl Park, 2229 Tyvola Rd, Charlotte, NC 28210. The 5K and 10K use an out-and-back course linked on the event pages; the 5K completes the route once and the 10K completes it twice. The half marathon uses a separate out-and-back route and completes that route four times.
