New South Trail Marathon - Whitewater
The New South Trail Marathon takes place on April 10, 2027, at the Whitewater Center in Charlotte, NC. The event offers trail distances through the center's trail system on natural surface trails with uneven terrain.
- 26.2 miles Full Marathon
- 13.1 miles Half Marathon
Registration options include pre-registration and race day registration, with listed fees for each distance. Pre-registration has specific deadlines. Packet pick-up is scheduled the day before the race at the South Conference Center and is also available on race day.
Aid stations are located along the course: Mile 4.2 (hydration only), Mile 8.1 (hydration and food), Mile 11.2 (hydration only), and at the start/finish (hydration and food). Race courses are marked with colored arrows.
Event policies require participants to sign the Whitewater Center Assumption of Risk Agreement before participating. Race registration is non-refundable. Trails remain open to other runners, hikers, and bikers during the event; headphones and powered transportation are discouraged or prohibited, and pets are not allowed on the course. Events proceed rain or shine, and the center may alter, reschedule, or cancel events.
The Whitewater Center charges a daily parking fee and provides emergency location markers on the trail system. Race shirts and medals have pre-registration guarantee deadlines.
