New South Trail Marathon
The New South Trail Marathon is a trail running event at the Whitewater Center in Charlotte, NC. It offers two distance options over the center’s trail system.
- 13.1 miles Half Marathon
- 26.2 miles Full Marathon
Registration includes pre-registration and race day pricing. Pre-registration rates and last day to pre-register are listed for each distance: Half Marathon pre-registration $75, race day $80; Full Marathon pre-registration $95, race day $100. Packet pick-up is scheduled on April 9th at the South Conference Center; race weekend activities occur the following day.
Course information will be made available up to four weeks before the race. Aid stations are placed on course: South Main at Mile 4.2 (hydration only), East Main at Mile 8.1 (hydration and food), East Main at Mile 11.2 (hydration only), and the Start/Finish Line aid station (hydration and food).
Event policies require all participants to sign the Whitewater Center Assumption of Risk Agreement before participating. Registration is non-refundable. Trails remain open to other trail users and no e-bikes or powered transportation are permitted in the race series. Events proceed rain or shine but the Whitewater Center may alter, reschedule, or cancel events. Parking fees apply. Participants must call 911 for emergency services.
