Distances/formats
- 12-hour running event
- 6-hour ruck event
Course and venue
The course is an approximately 3 mile loop at Camp Guilrock, a 210-acre camp in Reidsville. The loop includes grassy trail, gravel road, single track, and forest road, with mainly gentle rolling and flat terrain. Camping is available off course. Check-in and check-out take place in the indoor pavilion. An aid station at the start/transition area is stocked with Tailwind, LMNT, and water. A firepit will be available during the event.
Race rules and scoring
In the 12-hour event, runners complete as many full laps as they can; each finished lap is recorded and only completed laps count toward the final distance. Participants must check in with race staff when finishing a lap and when departing for the next. A light source is required for the 12-hour event; a backup is recommended.
In the 6-hour ruck, participants carry weighted packs and earn Kz points equal to weight (lbs) times lap miles. Packs are weighed before the start, after each lap, and before the next lap; the official weight for a lap is the lesser of the relevant weigh-ins. A light source is highly encouraged for the 6-hour event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
