Grit and Glaze 5K, 1M & Donut Dash - Duke Island Park, Bridgewater NJ
Grit and Glaze is scheduled for May 31, 2026 at Duke Island Park in Bridgewater, NJ. The event includes a USATF certified 5K course and additional shorter community distances. The event is held rain or shine and offers on-site and virtual participation options.

Amenities for participants include donuts and refreshments, a DJ, event T-shirts with a guaranteed shirt deadline of April 25, live results delivered online text and email for the 5K, free finish line photos for the 5K, and a merchandise tent where cash is preferred and PayPal is available. Personalized bibs are offered for the 5K if registered three weeks in advance. Virtual entrants receive mailed bibs within a shipping window that ranges from one week before the event to one week after.
Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers with gift cards of $100, $75, and $50 respectively. Age group awards are presented for these divisions: 9-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 plus. Overall winners remain eligible for age group awards.
