Grit and Glaze 5K, 1M & Donut Dash 2026 (Iron Girl)
Grit and Glaze is an organized running event listed for May 31, 2026 at Duke Island Park in Bridgewater, New Jersey. The event offers multiple short-distance options and is held rain or shine. Registration is not yet open and is scheduled to open ahead of the event date.

Event amenities include donuts and refreshments for participants, a DJ, an event t-shirt (guaranteed for registrations by April 25), live online and text results for the 5K, free finish line photos for the 5K, and personalized bibs for registrations completed three weeks in advance. A merchandise tent with event apparel will be available; cash and PayPal are accepted.
Awards are given to the top three men and top three women overall with gift card amounts of $100, $75, and $50 for first through third. Age group awards are presented for male and female divisions: 9-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 plus. Overall winners remain eligible for age group awards.
The 5K course is USATF certified. Bib pickup is available in person on event day and virtual bibs are shipped within a window that can span approximately one week before to one week after the event.
