Grit and Glaze 5K, 1M & Donut Dash
The event is scheduled for May 31, 2026 at Duke Island Park in Bridgewater, NJ and is held rain or shine. It features multiple running options and family-friendly activities in a park setting.

Amenities for participants include donuts and refreshments, a DJ, event T-shirts (guaranteed for registrations by April 25), live results by web/text/email for the 5K, free finish line photos for the 5K, and personalized bibs for registrations completed at least three weeks in advance. A merchandise tent will be on site and accepts cash or PayPal.
Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers with gift card prizes of $100, $75, and $50 for first through third. Age group awards are presented for male and female categories 9-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 plus. Overall winners are also eligible for age group awards.
Bib pickup is available in person on race day with a self-lookup area for those who do not know their number. Virtual bibs are shipped within a window from one week before the event to one week after the event. The course is USATF certified. The event benefits Iron Girl Project, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit supporting high school student athletes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
