Grit and Glaze 5K, 1M & Donut Dash
Grit and Glaze is an in-person running and community event held on May 31, 2026 at Duke Island Park in Bridgewater, New Jersey. The event includes multiple options for participation and a virtual entry window. It is held rain or shine.

- Kids Donut Dash for children 8 and under
- Virtual participation with an online posting window
The 5K entry includes a chipped bib, live text and email results, and free finish line photos. Personalized bibs are available when registered three weeks in advance. Donuts and drinks are served at the finish line for participants. The 1 Mile and Kids Donut Dash are untimed; the 1 Mile registration includes a shirt if registered by April 25. Virtual entries do not include a shirt and have specific instructions for posting times and photos online.
The course is USATF certified. Awards include gift cards for the top three overall male and female finishers and age group awards for top three in each listed category. The event benefits the Iron Girl Project, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that raises funds for scholarships supporting high school student athletes.
