Grit and Glaze takes place on May 31, 2026 at Duke Island Park in Bridgewater, NJ. The event offers multiple distances and family friendly activities on site.

Amenities listed for participants include donuts and refreshments, a DJ, event shirts with a registration deadline to guarantee a shirt of April 25, and a merchandise tent that accepts cash and PayPal. The 5K features live online, email and text results, free finish line photos, and free video. Personalized bibs are available for registrants who register at least three weeks in advance. Same day registration and bib pick up are available, and virtual bibs are shipped within a window from one week before the event to one week after.
The course is USATF certified for the 5K. Awards include gift cards for the top three men and top three women overall and age group awards for both men and women in the following ranges: 9-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 plus. Overall winners are eligible for age group awards. The event is held rain or shine.
