5K Green Run at Riverbend Park

The 5K Green Run takes place on March 7, 2026, at Riverbend Park in Jupiter, FL. The event is presented by the Partnership for Environmental Education (PFEE) to support the Jupiter Environmental Research & Field Studies Academy (JERFSA), a four year public high school environmental science choice program in Palm Beach County.

The event program includes the following options:

5K race
1 Mile Nature Run and Treasure Walk
Virtual Green Run

A nature's Treasure seek course is available for participants; it includes information stations where visitors collect clues. A naturalist will present environmental information and display a few live animals after the races. Free face painting is provided by Sunshine Painters.

Awards are given to overall top finishers and in multiple age groups. All finishers receive a finisher medal. The event encourages community support and donations to benefit JERFSA.
