Event overview
The JW Corbett Trail Races take place in Loxahatchee, FL, within the JW Corbett Wildlife Management Area. The event offers the following distances:
- 50 Miler
- 50K
- 18 Miler
Registration closes April 4. The event is held on the Ocean to Lake Trail system and follows orange blazes for navigation.
Course and conditions
The course is technical single-track trail through remote and largely undisturbed Florida wilderness. Terrain includes wet prairies, cypress strands, hardwood hammocks, open meadows, and pine flatwoods. Trails can be rugged, diverse, and possibly wet. Wildlife and wildflowers are commonly present along the route.
Entry and race rules
Entrance requires membership in the JW Corbett Running Club; entering the race serves as the club membership. Membership entry fees are directed to the Florida Trail Association Loxahatchee Chapter after applicable fees are paid. There is a 13 hour cutoff for all runners. Registrants who register after 3/25/2024 will not be guaranteed a shirt in their size. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
