JW Corbett Trail Races
The JW Corbett Trail Races take place in the JW Corbett Wildlife Management Area near Loxahatchee, FL on the Ocean to Lake Trail system. The event offers multiple distances and follows the ORANGE blazes for navigation.
Entry requires membership in the JW Corbett Running Club; entering the race provides that membership. Membership entry fees are directed to the Florida Trail Association Loxahatchee Chapter Club after required race fees are paid.
The course is primarily technical single track through remote, largely undisturbed Florida wilderness. Trails run through wet prairies, cypress strands, hardwood hammocks, open meadows and pine flat woods. Surfaces can be wet in places and the route offers views of local wildlife and wildflowers.
A 13 hour cutoff applies to all runners. Runners who register after 3/25/2024 are not guaranteed a shirt in their preferred size. Registration closes on Sat, Apr 4 at 11:59 PM ET.
