19th Annual Rooney's 5K Run/Walk
The 19th Annual Rooney's 5K Run/Walk takes place in West Palm Beach, Florida, at PBKC. This long-standing event has been held since 2008 and serves to support various charities within Palm Beach County, including Connections Education Center, the Palm Beach County Police Athletic League, Potentia Academy, and Westgate CRA.
Participants travel through the roads of the historical Westgate CRA area. The course is officially recognized with a USATF certificate. All participants in the 5K categories are chip-timed by Accuchip USA, Inc. to ensure accurate results.

- 5K run and walk
- 1 Mile Kids Fun Run
The race site features a start and finish line located at PBKC. Following the physical activity, a breakfast is provided for all participants. T-shirts and race medals are distributed to the first 400 entrants. Registration is open to the general public, with specific categories available for military members, veterans, first responders, full-time students, and local residents of the Westgate CRA and Belvedere Homes area.
