19th Annual Rooney's 5K Run/Walk

The 19th Annual Rooney's 5K Run/Walk takes place on April 4, 2026, at the Palm Beach Kennel Club in West Palm Beach, Florida (1111 N. Congress Ave., West Palm Beach, FL 33409). The event is organized as a community fundraiser; proceeds benefit Connections Education Center, Potentia Academy, Palm Beach County - Police Athletic League, and Westgate/Belvedere Homes CRA. Since 2008 the Rooney’s 5K has raised over $253,686.57 for charities in Palm Beach County.

Participants are chip-timed by Accuchip USA, Inc. The course holds a USATF certificate (FL19024TY, effective 2/11/19 to 12/31/29). A post-race breakfast is provided for participants. T-shirts and race medals are available for the first 400 entrants. Dogs are not allowed in the race.

Registration is offered in several categories with published entry fees:

Westgate CRA / Belvedere Homes Residents: $25
Full Time Students: $20
Kids Fun Run: $10
