Event overview
The Great Southern Endurance Run (GSER) is an alpine trail running event held in Victoria's High Country, based at Mt Hotham Alpine Resort for the 2025 edition. The event is organized around mountain trails and predominantly single-track sections, with parts of the course following the Australian Alps Walking Track. The 2025 edition notes limited entries at each start line, mandatory gear requirements, and a maps page listed as "2025 Edition Under Construction." Race support features include drop bag locations, support crew access, designated spectator vantage points, pacer arrangements, and a volunteer program.
