Great South Bay YMCA 5K Run/Walk in Memory of Judi
The event is an annual 5K Run/Walk organized in memory of Judi to bring the community together and to support friends, neighbors, and families affected by breast cancer. It is presented by the Great South Bay YMCA.
The venue is the Great South Bay YMCA at 200 W. Main Street, Bay Shore, NY 11706. Registration for the next edition is not yet open.
Post-race amenities include awards, prizes, refreshments, and sponsor giveaways. Event t-shirts are distributed on a first come first serve basis. Virtual participants receive race materials by mail, with a shipping window that ranges from one week prior to the event to one week after the event.
Awards are given to the top overall male and female, with the top overall prize listed as a one year Full Adult YMCA membership plus a Y gift basket. Top three male and female finishers in each age group receive medals; age groups include 15 and under, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80 and over.
Bibs can be picked up before race day and on race day at the Great South Bay YMCA. Live online, email, and text results are provided, along with free video and same-day finish line photos. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
