Event amenities include participant tees for the first 300 registrants, professional race announcing, raffle prizes, and post race refreshments that include bakery items. Participants who present their race number on race day can receive one free draft beer at Napper Tandy's Irish Pub.
Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top three finishers in each male and female age group. Age group awards cover standard ranges from 12 and under through 80 and over. The family fun run awards ribbons to all participants.
The course is USATF certified and described as relatively flat, routed through residential streets with police control, on course water stops, and mile splits. Bib pickup is available before the event at Smithtown Running Company and on race morning at Smithtown Elementary School.
