Glory Run 5K
The Glory Run 5K is an annual community event held in Clayton, North Carolina. Now in its third year, the event features a single distance for participants to complete through running or walking:

The course begins and ends at Fellowship Baptist Church on West Main Street. The race utilizes chip timing, and each participant receives a bib with a timing chip, an official t-shirt, and a bag containing items from local businesses. Participants who register by a specific date are guaranteed an event shirt.
The event includes an awards ceremony following the completion of the race. Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as the top male and female finishers across various age categories, ranging from ages 10 and under to ages 80 and over.
A post-race gathering takes place featuring local vendors and refreshments. Door prizes are also distributed during the event. Financial proceeds from the run are used to support youth programs and local outreach initiatives. Packet pickup is organized at the Fellowship Baptist Church gym building on the Friday afternoon before the race and on the morning of the event.
