Girls on the Run Puget Sound Spring 2026 Regional 5K
The Spring 2026 Regional 5K takes place on May 31, 2026 at Renton Memorial Stadium, 405 Logan Ave N, Renton, WA 98057. The event serves as the end-of-season celebratory 5K for Girls on the Run Puget Sound programs and gives program participants a tangible sense of accomplishment. Every registered youth participant who completes the 5K receives a commemorative medal.
The 5K course is 3.1 miles. The Spring Regional format is open to registered GOTR participants, designated 5K Buddies and community runners. A 5K Buddy is an individual assigned to complete the full course alongside a participant; running buddies must be 14 years or older. Girls on the Run events are designed to be accessible so participants can walk, run, roll or push at their own pace. A virtual 5K option is also described for those who prefer to complete the distance elsewhere.
Current GOTR participants, coaches and site liaisons are automatically registered and do not need to complete additional registration. Buddy and community runner registration options include online registration through May 25 for a fee and in-person registration at the event with a higher fee; scholarships are available upon request. All registrants sign a liability waiver. The venue does not allow pets or wheeled devices except mobility aids.
