Operation School Bell® 5K Run/Walk - Assistance League® of the Eastside is a community run and virtual event centered on a 5K distance. The in-person 5K is scheduled for Saturday, June 6, 2026. A virtual run/walk option takes place during May through June 6, 2026. Registration opens March 1, 2026. The registration fee listed for each event is $35.
Location, logistics, and purpose
The in-person event is held at Marymoor Park, 6046 W Lake Sammamish Pkwy NE, Redmond, WA. Organizers ask participants to use Parking Lot K by the tennis courts; the race starts by Baseball Field #5. Packet pickup and post-race awards and community activities are part of race day operations. All participants receive an event T-shirt (guaranteed if registered by April 30), a finisher's medal, and finish line drinks and snacks; a souvenir T-shirt can be ordered separately by May 1, 2026.
The event raises funds for Assistance League of the Eastside’s Operation School Bell program. The program provides students selected by school personnel from the Bellevue, Lake Washington, and Northshore School Districts with funds to shop at local Fred Meyer stores for clothing, shoes, books, school supplies, medications, and groceries.
