About the race
Girls on the Run North Bay holds a season-closing 5K celebration on Sunday, Nov 8, 2026 at Napa Valley College, Football/Track Field in Napa, CA. The event brings together program participants, families, and community members from Napa, Solano, and Sonoma counties, with more than 800 attendees expected. The course is 3.1 miles and is presented as a noncompetitive, celebratory event; participants are encouraged to walk, run, roll, push, or skip at their own pace. Every registered finisher receives a commemorative medal.
The event includes on-site activities such as face painting, happy hair stations, water stations, and a Dream Hall that features local women leaders. Community members may register to participate and registration includes online and same-day options plus a financial assistance rate. The 5K is designed to be accessible; designated parking spots are available and running buddies are allowed to accompany participants. Volunteers are required to support the event, with the council seeking at least 75 volunteers for roles such as setup, registration, course safety, water stations, medals, and cleanup.
