Denver Metro 5K - 5K Celebration
The Denver Metro 5K is a season-closing, celebratory 5K for Girls on the Run program participants. The event takes place on November 15, 2026 at Empower Field @ Mile High (1701 Bryant St., Denver, CO) in Lot D. The closing event gives participants a tangible sense of accomplishment and aims to build confidence through completion. Every program participant receives a commemorative medal.
Girls, coaches, and families are instructed to locate their team sign at the Meet & Greet Area on event day; participants’ bibs will be distributed by coaches at those team signs. Program participants and coaches are already registered for the 5K and do not need to register. Parents or guardians who plan to run alongside their participant must register separately. Online registration is available through November 11; online entry is listed at $29 plus processing fees and race day registration is listed at $34.
