5K Celebration
The Denver Metro 5K is the season-ending 5K for Girls on the Run Rockies. The event is scheduled for Nov 15, 2026 at Empower Field @ Mile High (1701 Bryant St. Denver CO 80204), Lot D. This closing event gives program participants of all abilities a tangible sense of accomplishment and marks completion of the season.
Girls on the Run participants and coaches have already been registered for the 5K and do not need to register. Parents or guardians who plan to run alongside a participant must register separately; online registration is open until 11:59 PM on Wednesday, November 11. Online registration is listed at $29 plus processing fees, with race day registration available for $34 plus processing fees. Bibs for program participants will be handed out by coaches at team signs in the Meet & Greet Area.
Program participants receive a commemorative medal at the event. Local sponsors and national partners support the 5K; named partners include Adidas, Gamma Phi Beta, BAND, Fleet Feet, and Sprouts Community Foundation.
