Salute to Veterans 5K/10K/Half Marathon - Denver
The event is held at Aurora Reservoir in Aurora, CO (5800 S Powhaton Rd). It offers three race distances and an in-person course that is largely flat with only minor elevation changes. All courses are out-and-back.

All participants receive a custom finisher medal. Awards are given to the Top Three male and female overall finishers for each distance, Top Three overall Masters, Grand Masters, and Senior Masters male and female finishers, and the Top Three in five-year age groups starting at 10 & Under across all distances.
Veterans may race for free and Active Duty military may enter for $15 with a government issued military ID. A deadline is listed for guaranteed shirt sizing. Self-serve water stations are placed at approximately every 1.5 miles; participants who prefer not to stop are advised to use personal hydration. Runners must finish at a pace no slower than 16 minutes per mile.
A virtual race option is available. Virtual participants can run at a location of their choice, submit results online, and have virtual results posted after the event date.
