Salute to Veterans 5K/10K/Half Marathon - Denver
The Salute to Veterans event takes place on 11/14/26 at the Aurora Reservoir in Aurora, Colorado. The race is described as a community event to honor military veterans and active service members.

All participants receive a custom finisher medal. Veterans race for free and Active Duty military may register for a reduced fee of $15; a government issued military ID is required. Family members and other supporters register at the regular rate. The deadline for a guaranteed shirt size is Oct 29.
Course and logistics: all courses are out-and-back and are described as not completely flat but not hilly. Self-serve water stations will be available approximately every 1.5 miles. Participants must maintain a finishing pace of at most 16 minutes per mile.
Awards: the Top Three Male and Female Overall finishers in each distance will receive awards. Additional awards will be given to the Top Three Overall Masters, Grand Masters, and Senior Masters male and female finishers, and to the top three athletes in each five-year age group starting at 10 and under across all distances.
Virtual option: a virtual race option is available, with participants able to run at a location of their choice, submit virtual results online, and view results the Monday after the event date.
