Louisville Trail Race
The Louisville Trail Race takes place on November 14, 2026 in Louisville, Colorado, returning for its 13th year. The event is centered at Louisville Community Park and includes trail distances over the front range landscape with views of the Flat Irons.
Distances offered:
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- 10K (6.2 miles)
- 5K (3.1 miles)
Course surfaces are predominantly dirt trails with some bike path on the half marathon. Each race is an out and back route. Key course details: the half marathon is about 90% dirt and 10% bike path with approximately 501 feet of elevation gain and a maximum elevation near 6,412 feet; notable climbs occur near miles 5.3 and 11.5 and there are multiple aid stations. The 10K is 100% dirt with about 285 feet of gain, a high point near 6,412 feet, two steady climbs, and three aid stations. The 5K is 100% dirt with about 193 feet of gain, a high point near 6,369 feet, two short climbs, and two aid stations.
Event logistics include limited onsite parking and surrounding street parking, a designated drop bag area at the start/finish, and a cupless initiative with reusable cups available for purchase or participants may bring their own. Pacers are not permitted and crews may support runners at the finish. Registration is non refundable and non transferable and closes November 9.
