Girls on the Run 5K Somerville Presented by The Waldele Family Foundation
Girls on the Run of Central New Jersey holds a 5K community race in Somerville on May 31, 2026. The course starts at E. High and Grove St., with registration located on the Somerset County Courthouse lawn. The event uses chip timing provided by Tristate Timing. Water stops are available on the course and at the finish, and post race refreshments are provided for runners only.
The organization is marking its 25th anniversary and requests a $25 donation with registration to support a scholarship fund. A dedicated SoleMates fundraising option channels proceeds to scholarships for girls in low income areas. Registration fees are non refundable and non transferable; posted fee tiers are early registration by April 27 for $30, April 28 to May 15 for $35, May 16 to May 27 at noon for $40, and race day for $45.
