Event Overview
The 9th Annual Om Memorial 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk takes place on Sunday, May 17, 2026. The event is held at Thompson Park (Thompson Drive and Lakeview Ave) in Monroe Township, New Jersey. Registration and bib pickup begin at 7:30 AM.

- Om Memorial 1 Mile Walk
Event Schedule
The program includes a 1 Mile Walk at 9:00 AM and the 5K Run at 9:45 AM. A medal presentation ceremony for the 5K is scheduled for 11:00 AM. Participants are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets.
Parking Information
Thompson Park entrances are open for participant car entry from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM. The park entrances will be closed to cars from 8:30 AM to approximately 10:30 AM. Park rangers will be present to guide attendees to the parking lot. For those arriving after 8:30 AM or needing to leave before 10:30 AM, alternative parking is available at the Fir Dr parking lots off Perrineville Rd or in the Jamesburg (Railroad Ave) area.
Purpose and Organization
The event supports the Om Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to funding pediatric cancer research and promoting community awareness and optimism.
