Event Details

The Code 5k is an annual fundraising event for the Mountainside Rescue Squad, a volunteer emergency medical services organization. It features three separate events.

Available distances:

A timed 5k Run.
An untimed 5k Walk.
A Kids Fun Run.

The 5k Run and Walk events start at the same time. Participants who register for these events before April 1st receive a race shirt. Shirts are not available for the Kids Fun Run. All proceeds support the squad's operations.

Venue and Parking

The start and finish location is the Mountainside Rescue Squad building at 1399 Route 22 East in Mountainside, New Jersey. Parking at the venue is limited. Organizers suggest arriving early and using nearby parking at the Mountainside Community Pool or the Mountainside Library, then using a footbridge to cross Route 22.
