Gifford Health Care Last Mile 2026
Gifford Health Care Last Mile is a two day fundraising event held in August that combines timed and non timed activities to raise money for patients and families at the end of life. Funds support costs such as alternative therapies, transportation, family meals, portraits, and unique wishes.
The event schedule spans two days:
- Friday, August 14 hosts a timed 5K run and 1 or 2 mile walks.
- Saturday, August 15 features bicycle and motorcycle rides.

- 1 mile walk
- 2 mile walk
- Bicycle rides
- Motorcycle ride
Route maps are provided for the bicycle, 5K and walk, and motorcycle courses. Participants are encouraged to create fundraising pages and to raise donations; top fundraiser prizes are distributed at the event. Participants who register by July 1 receive a free t-shirt. Raffles are part of the event and tickets are available through the event organizer.
