Event overview
The Gator Wilderness Camp Trail Run/Walk takes place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Gator Wilderness Camp School in Punta Gorda, Florida (44930 Farabee Road). The event uses trails on the camp's 250 acres, running through woods and shaded hammocks. Proceeds from race entry benefit Gator Wilderness Camp School, a 501(c)(3) residential school for adolescent males ages 10-15 from Southwest Florida. No pets or running strollers are allowed on the trail.

Standard entry for the 5k, 10k and 15k is listed at $30; kids 14 and under are $15 for the 5k only. The Virtual event fee is listed as $39.30 and its registration opens February 18, 2026. Special pricing of $20 is available for cross country students ages 15-18 until April 20. Race day registration is available online but requires a phone; on-site registration is listed with an entry fee of $40. Shirts are guaranteed for registrations received by April 1. Awards are planned for overall and masters finishers and for top three in five-year age groups for each race distance. Maps show separate start locations for the 5k, 10k and 15k.
