Event overview
The Gator Wilderness Camp Trail Run/Walk takes place on April 25, 2026 at Gator Wilderness Camp School in Punta Gorda, Florida. The course runs through woods and shaded hammocks on the camp's 250 acres. All race entry proceeds benefit Gator Wilderness Camp School, a 501(c)(3) residential school serving adolescent males ages 10-15 from Southwest Florida.

Kids under 14 have a reduced price for the 5k. Cross country runners ages 15-18 have a special registration price valid through April 20.
Logistics and rules
Race day packet pick-up and on-site registration are available for an additional fee. Participants must bring a phone to register on race day. There are three different start locations; course maps are provided for each distance. No pets are allowed, and running strollers are not permitted on the trail run. Packets not picked up before the race start will be forfeited.
Awards and race extras
Shirts are guaranteed for registrations received by April 1. Awards will be given to overall and masters finishers and to the top three in five-year age groups for the 5k, 10k, and 15k. Food and a BBQ ribs fundraiser will be available on site. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
