Event overview
Charlotte County Habitat for Humanity presents the 27th Annual Turkey Trot on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at the Florida SouthWestern State College, Punta Gorda Campus in Punta Gorda, FL. The event includes a 5K run and a 5K fun walk and features a Bicycle Riding Turkey as part of the tradition. Proceeds and donations support the affiliate’s Homeownership Program to help provide affordable housing in Charlotte County. All participants receive a finisher medal and a race shirt if registered by the race shirt deadline of October 19, 2025.

Registration, awards and logistics
Registration prices change by date: April 1 to October 19 : $35; October 20 to November 26 : $40; day-of registration : $45. Youth registration rules: ages 3 and under are free (shirt and medal require Fun Walk sign-up and youth fee), ages 4-14 are $25. Race registration is non-refundable and non-deferrable. Early packet pick-up is scheduled at the Charlotte County Habitat for Humanity office, 1750 Manzana Ave, Punta Gorda; race day packet pick-up is at FSW College Charlotte Campus, Building O Cafeteria, 26300 Airport Rd, Punta Gorda. Age-group awards go to the top three male and female finishers in age categories from 9 and under through 80 and over. Overall awards include divisions such as Masters 40+, Grand Masters 50+, and other age-based divisions. Per event rules, gun time is used for prize winners and tag (chip) time is used for age-group results. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
