Gardiner Dump Run
The Gardiner Dump Run is a trail running event at Gardiner's Riverbend Trails in Gardiner, New York, hosted by the Gardiner Parks and Recreation Committee with the Gardiner Trail Alliance. The course uses single track trails through wooded hillsides near the Wallkill River and along open, untamed fields.
The event program includes:
- 5K trail run on single track terrain
- 10K option run by completing two laps of the 5K course
- Kids Fun Run, approximately 200 yards, for ages 2 to 5
Registration details vary by event. Entry fees listed by the organizer are $35 for the 5K, $40 for the 10K, and $5 for the Kids Fun Run. Pre-registered participants who register by September 8 will receive a unique event T-shirt. Day of registration is permitted and accepts cash or check only; packet pickup is available on race day and for pre-registered participants. Volunteers assist with parking on site.
The event also includes a sneaker recycling program; participants receive a coupon for each pair of athletic sneakers they donate. Breakfast sandwiches are available for purchase on race morning according to the organizer. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
