Family of New Paltz Turkey Trot
The Family of New Paltz Turkey Trot is an annual, family-friendly 5K run and walk held on Thanksgiving morning in New Paltz. The event functions as the main fundraiser for Family of New Paltz and has supported the organization for more than 20 years.
Proceeds help fund the agency’s crisis intervention and community services. Funded programs include the food pantry, case management, youth services, domestic violence services, restorative justice for adolescents, shelters, support groups, and a 24 hour hotline.
