Event Overview
The Game On - Treasure Coast Tri takes place at Jaycee Park on Hutchinson Island in Fort Pierce, Florida. This multisport event includes various formats such as triathlons, duathlons, and an aquabike race. The courses utilize the local landscape of the Treasure Coast, featuring swimming in the Indian River Lagoon and cycling and running segments along the A1A and the Fort Pierce inlet. The bike course is described as flat and out-and-back. Participants can choose from several distances and categories:
- Olympic Triathlon: 0.9 mile swim, 24.8 mile bike, and 6.2 mile run.
- Olympic Duathlon: 1 mile run, 24.8 mile bike, and 6.2 mile run.
- Olympic AquaBike: 0.9 mile swim and 24.8 mile bike.
- Sprint Triathlon: 0.25 mile swim, 12.5 mile bike, and 3.2 mile run.
- Sprint Duathlon: 1 mile run, 12.5 mile bike, and 3.2 mile run.
Relay options are available for both the Sprint and Olympic triathlon distances, as well as the Sprint duathlon. The swim segments take place in calm lagoon waters, while the running portions provide views of the scenic Fort Pierce inlet.
