The Race To The Courthouse 5K Run/Walk
The Race To The Courthouse is the Martin County Bar Association's 8th annual 5K run/walk, scheduled for Saturday, April 18, 2026, in Stuart, Florida. The in-person route begins and ends at the Martin County Courthouse (Gazebo Park, 80 SE Ocean Blvd.) and passes through parts of downtown Stuart.

Awards are given to the overall male and female winners, masters male and female, and first through third place in five-year age groups, including categories from 10 and under up to 80+. Prizes will also be awarded to the fastest law firm team and a traveling trophy will go to the largest law firm team; team members need not be law firm employees. Registration asks participants associated with a firm to include the firm name but association is not required.
Race shirts are guaranteed for registrations completed by March 18, 2026. Pricing is tiered by date, with a student rate available for those 18 or under who register by March 18. A $5 discount applies for qualifying premium running club members who register before March 18. Chip timing is provided by MCM Timing. Packet pickup is Friday, April 17, 2026 at Fleet Feet Stuart from 2pm to 6pm; race day pickup is available but discouraged. Proceeds support the Legal Aid Society of the Martin County Bar Association and the Martin County Bar Association scholarship program.
