Galloway's Gallop
Galloway's Gallop is a road and fell running event held on Saturday 25 July 2026 with start and finish at The Malt Shovel Inn, LA5 9PG. The fell race follows trails over Warton Crag and is described as approximately 5 km in length. The road race covers a 4 mile distance.

All finishers receive a medal. A special memento is awarded to the first ten male and first ten female finishers. The event supports Northwest Air Ambulance and Lancaster Neonatal Department.
Online entry fees are specified as follows: the fell race is £10 for all athletes; the 4 mile road race is £12 for affiliated club athletes, £14 for unaffiliated athletes, and £10 for Lancaster Runner's club members. Entry on the day is cash only and vouchers are not accepted. On-the-day fees are £10 for the fell race and £15 for the 4 mile race. Online portals may add a small booking fee.
