Galloway's Gallop : event overview
Galloway's Gallop takes place on Saturday 25 July 2026 and is based at The Malt Shovel Inn, LA5 9PG. The event includes both a road race and a trail/fell race. The fell race runs over Warton Crag and is described as approximately 5 km in length.

The event supports Northwest Air Ambulance and Lancaster Neonatal Department. All finishers receive a medal. A special memento is given to the first ten male and first ten female finishers.
Entry, fees and policies
Online fees listed for the fell race are £10 for all athletes. Online fees for the 4 mile road race are: affiliated club athletes £21, unaffiliated athletes £23, Lancaster Runners Club members £17. Entry on the day is cash only. On-the-day fees are shown as: fell race £10; 4 mile race £25 for affiliated and £25 for unaffiliated athletes; Lancaster Runners Club members £20.
