Galloway's Gallop Road Race
Galloway's Gallop is a fell and trail race held on Saturday 25 July 2026. The event starts and finishes at the Malt Shovel Inn, LA5 9PG, and runs over Warton Crag. The main fell course is approximately 5 km in length.

- 3 mile (approximately 5 km) fell race
- 4 mile race
Entry options and fees are listed separately for online and on-the-day entries. Online fees are: fell race all athletes £10; 4 mile affiliated club athletes £12; 4 mile unaffiliated athletes £14; Lancaster Runner's club members £10. On-the-day entries are cash only and 4 mile entries are £15 for all athletes; fell race on-the-day entry is £10. Online booking portals may add a small processing fee. Vouchers are not accepted for this event.
The event supports Northwest Air Ambulance and Lancaster Neonatal Department. All finishers receive a medal, and a special memento is awarded to the first ten male and first ten female finishers.
