Summer Farm Yard Five
The Summer Farm Yard Five is a road running event organized by Preston, Fylde & Wyre Running in partnership with the Farm Yard Brew Co. The race takes place in Lancaster, starting and finishing at the brewery on Gulf Lane. Participants follow an accurately measured route that leads through the open countryside, offering views of the Trough of Bowland hills.
The course is described as fast and flat and is held under a road running license. An aid station is located at the halfway point, providing runners with water or beer. Medical cover is provided during the event, and friendly marshals are stationed along the route to assist participants. Free parking is available on-site for those traveling to the venue.

The brewery tap room opens in the late afternoon for both runners and spectators. A street food vendor is present on-site to serve food for purchase. All finishers receive a voucher for a free pint of beer or a soft drink instead of a medal. Prizes are awarded to the first three male and first three female finishers. Additionally, all entrants are included in a draw to win a pack of six beers. This race is the second installment in a series of three beer runs scheduled for 2026.
