Event overview
The event is a 5 mile road race held on Thursday, 16 July 2026. The course starts and finishes at Farm Yard Brew Co., Gulf Lane, Lancaster, LA2 0ER. The route is flat and runs on road and pavement, with views over open countryside and the Trough of Bowland hills. A beer-stocked aid station will be located at the halfway point; water is optional at that station. The tap room at the brewery will be open for runners and spectators. The event is the second in a series of three beer runs in 2026.
Logistics and entry
Maximum field size is 150 entrants. Minimum age is 18 years. Entries close on 15 July 2026. Entry fees are listed as £18 for affiliated runners and £20 for unattached runners. Included with entry are an accurately measured course, medical cover, friendly marshals, free parking, a beer aid station, and beer for all finishers (finishers receive a voucher for a free pint of beer or a soft drink). Prizes are provided for the first three male and first three female finishers; prize awards are two cans of Farm Yard Brew beers each. All entrant names are entered into a draw for six cans of Farm Yard Brew beers, drawn on the day prior to the race. Refunds are not permitted; transfers or deferrals are allowed up to one week before the event. The event is held under a road running license.
