Summer Farm Yard Five : Lancaster, 16 July 2026
The Summer Farm Yard Five is a running event held at Farm Yard Brew Co., Gulf Lane, Lancaster, LA2 0ER on 16 July 2026. The race is a measured road course of 5 miles that starts and finishes at the brewery and runs along Gulf Lane with views over open countryside and the Trough of Bowland hills.
Entry options are listed as £18 for affiliated runners and £20 for unattached runners. A package price is available for entering all three Farm Yard runs in 2026 with reduced fees for affiliated and unattached entrants. The event is the second in a series of three beer runs including the Spring and Festive Farm Yard Five races.
The event includes medical cover, friendly marshals, free parking and is held under a road running licence. There will be a beer stocked aid station at the halfway point with water optional. All finishers receive a voucher for a free pint of beer or a soft drink rather than a medal. Prizes are planned for the first three male and first three female finishers, with two cans of Farm Yard Brew Co. beer awarded to each prize position. All entrants are entered into a day of draw for a six can beer prize. The brewery tap room will be open and a street food vendor will serve food on site.
