Funest 50k @ Carter Rd
The event is a trail race held at Loyce E. Harpe Park, 300 W Carter Rd, Mulberry, FL, organized by Ultra Ultras Events. The race offers multiple distances on mountain bike trails that run through an old abandoned phosphate mine area.

The course uses a 10k loop on sand and dirt mountain bike trails; the 30k is three laps and the 50k is five laps. The organizer describes the trails as challenging, with rolling hills and twisty sections. The route is clearly marked with over 600 markers. Aid is available at the start area and at an aid station near the 3.5 mile point, with electrolytes, soda and water provided. There is a 10 hour cutoff, which equates to roughly a 19:20 minute per mile pace.
Field size is limited to 125 runners across the 10k, 30k and 50k for 2027. Awards include top three overall male and female and first masters male and female. Every finisher receives socks, a finisher sticker and an award. Ten dollars from each registration is designated for Polk County Parks and Recreation to support park maintenance.
