White Elephant 5K/10K - Lakeland
The White Elephant 5K/10K in Lakeland is a holiday-themed road event held on 11/29/26 that offers in-person and virtual participation. The course runs around Lake Hollingsworth and is described as pretty flat. Water is available at self-serve stations roughly every 1.5 miles.
Athletes choose a shirt size at registration, but the actual shirt is a surprise revealed after the race. Finishers receive a White Elephant-style bundle that includes a race shirt and a finisher medal from a previous event. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in five-year age groups, beginning with 10 and under and continuing through older age groups.
