The Fox Valley Marathon Races take place September 20, 2026, in St. Charles, Illinois. The event offers multiple road race distances and combines a small-race atmosphere with larger race amenities.

The course starts and ends in historic downtown St. Charles and winds through Geneva, Batavia and North Aurora. The finish crosses the Fox River and is visible from over a mile away. The route includes frequent, well positioned aid stations staffed by volunteer teams and offers several viewing spots for families and supporters.
Organizers published course changes for 2026, including trail improvements for the 20 and 26.2 mile courses and new maps. For the 13.1, 20, and 26.2 mile events there is a decline shirt option that reduces the fee by $15 compared with 2025. A bib list was updated on 8/15. The event program also references awards, a pace team, trail preview runs, a five year medal series with a discount, and online results and photos.
