Racing options include timed and untimed entries for the 8 mile and 5K distances, a virtual 8 mile or 5K option with results accepted between November 19 and December 3, youth categories for ages 7 to 12, and a tots/toddlers/strollers registration for newborns through age 6. A Diaper Dash for crawling babies uses a soft mat of approximately 12 feet; participants receive a long sleeve onesie and a cloth bib as part of the fee.
Additional on-site offerings include The Roost, a paid hospitality area on the City Hall plaza with covered seating, breakfast items, beverages, post-race snacks, and semi-private restrooms. Pass options include a Premium Pass that adds two premium beverages; adults consuming alcohol must be 21 or older. Children 6 and under enter The Roost free with an adult; children 7 to 12 have a reduced fee.
Competitive features include a Team Challenge in the timed 5K where teams must have at least four scoring runners and the top four times determine team results. A costume contest for participants and a separate dog costume contest award membership and travel prizes.
