SoCal's Sunset Trick or Trot 5K/10K
SoCal's Sunset Trick or Trot is an evening Halloween-themed running event on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Bolsa Chica State Beach, Lot 25 in Huntington Beach, California. The event includes a Trunk or Treat expo and family-oriented activities.

- 5K Run/Walk (3.1 miles)
- 10K Run/Walk (6.21 miles)
- Youth 1/2 Mile Zombie Run (0.5 miles)
- Pumpkin Dash (about 200 yards)
Event features include a Trunk or Treat expo, selfie stations, games and giveaways, a fall-themed event shirt, and a custom reversible finisher medal. Food and beverage options listed include street tacos, aguas frescas, specialty coffee, and cookies. Costume contests, team contests, and age-group and overall awards are part of the event program.
All bibs, shirts, and trick-or-treat bags are distributed at the Trunk or Treat expo on race day; there is no early-day pickup. Timing is provided by RFID chip timing through Itz About Time. Only registered participants wearing a bib receive medals.
The course is described as flat, fast, paved, and scenic with ocean views. Pets on a leash (maximum 5 ft) are welcome and strollers are allowed with a request that stroller runners start near the back.
