About the race
Rock It in Chino Hills is a trail event held at Chino Hills State Park with options for trail running or hiking over measured distances. The event offers two course options:
- 5K trail run or hike.
- 10K trail run or hike.
Registration opened April 6, 2026 and closes September 2, 2026. Entry fees are $50 for the 5K and $65 for the 10K. Registration includes race photos, a participant shirt, and a finisher patch.
Age-group awards are given to the first place finisher in each of these nine age groups: under 9; 10-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70-79; 80 and over.
Parking at California State Parks is $10 per vehicle with cashless payment only. An alternative parking option is nearby Carbon Canyon Park for $5. Organizers note that carpooling is encouraged.
The event may be rescheduled for weather or venue restrictions. If the date changes, participants will be automatically transferred to the new date and no refunds will be provided.
