Event Overview
The 2XU Long Beach Marathon is scheduled for October 10–11, 2026. Organizers expect over 25,000 participants. The event is noted for its flat course and blends city running with coastal views.
Distances
Participants can choose from three race distances:
- Aquarium of the Pacific 5K: This course goes through the Aquarium of the Pacific.
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- Marathon (26.2 miles)
Course and Atmosphere
The routes pass cityscapes and ocean views, including landmarks like the Queen Mary and Shoreline Village. Roads are closed for the event, and spectators line the course with cheer zones. The finish area includes a festival and beer garden.
