2XU Long Beach Marathon : Oct 10-11, 2026
The 2XU Long Beach Marathon is scheduled for October 10-11, 2026 in Long Beach, California. The event is expected to attract more than 25,000 participants. The course combines city streets and ocean views, with spectators lining closed roads and multiple cheer zones. The weekend includes a finish festival and a beer garden. Distances
- 5K - runs through the Aquarium of the Pacific.
- Half Marathon - 13.1 miles, coastal and city views.
- Marathon - 26.2 miles, passes landmarks such as the Queen Mary and Shoreline Village.
Participation and policies
Age requirements are: 18 years for the marathon, 13 years for the half marathon, and no age limit for the 5K. All registration fees are non-refundable; the event may be canceled by race management, city officials, or law enforcement for emergency reasons and refunds cannot be provided in those cases.
